UNPACKING THE GRADEBOOK (Joan Coy): Assessment is critical role for most instructors using Moodle courses. Unfortunately, to some, the Gradebook is a challenge. In this session, we will use a backward assessment design to unpack the features of the Gradebook. Bring along your assessment plan and see how Gradebook can be used to help achieve your goals.

GOING BEYOND THE GRADEBOOK (Fernando Oliveira): This session will demonstrate the Marking Manager and Progress Report plugins.  These extensions provide a centralized grading interface, student-progress tracking across multiple courses, customized student-notification and other features that allow instructors to go beyond the default Gradebook.
