Have you ever been asked to make sure that the online courses on Moodle are accessible? What does “accessible” mean? That all courses are accessible through any computer, tablet and smartphone? That the course content is “readable” and activities are “doable” by all students, including those with visual impairment, hearing loss, a physical limitation or a learning disability? That the courses are designed for a diverse clientele with different learning styles.
This presentation will describe the steps taken to make courses “accessible” from the perspective of a technical team responsible for Moodle and online course development.
