Networking Groups: Moodle Users Association, Moodle Technical Workshop, Learn Moodle

Log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

During the plenary session, leaders of the following networking groups will introduce their luncheon groups.  Choose the group of your choice:
1. Moodle Users Association:
The Moodle User’s Association (MUA) is a way for any user of Moodle to have an effect on its future direction! Users propose projects for integration into Moodle core - projects are then voted upon and funded by member fees.  The recycle bin and the new dashboard are both MUA projects and we are currently working on calendar improvements for 3.4.
If you are an MUA member or just interested in hearing more about the MUA, come and join other members and some of the MUA committee in an interactive discussion where we will discuss current projects and active goals of the organization and, of course, answer any and all questions!
2. Moodle Technical Workshop:
How to use Docker to create a local development environment for Moodle to be led by Moodle HQ's Paul Greidanus
3. What’s driving Learn Moodle?
Join Moodle Education Advisor, Solange Lalonde, to learn how a focus on “empowering educators to improve our world” is the driving force behind the Learn Moodle program. Participants will be introduced to the Learn Moodle professional development program that provides levels of expertly designed modules for teaching and learning as well as multiple entry points for learning about Moodle tools and resources. In this 1.5 hour session, find out more about how you can connect, communicate, and collaborate with the exciting programming that’s happening at Learn Moodle.
